Help with new event

    Do I need to be in the session when the player sells the loot for it to count towards my plundered presents tally?

    not too sure. I tested on commendations before and it doesn't count so probably doesn't work but I can't confirm that since event is different than commendations

    my suggestion is just leaving multiple things in easy to find spots at multiple outposts per session then sail away but stay in game

    people will join the server and see it and sell it even if they are hopping usually

    I believe you do, yes... This has always been the case in the past where crews have had to hand each others treasure in.
    It is only buried treasure commendations that survive once a crew leaves a session.
