@elguapo2665 just because you didn't complete the shores of gold tall tale and get the gem doesn't mean you didn't have fun doing it. There are still lots of ways to play in SoT, and the Shores of Gold is only one of them. I don't rlly think that's a reason to fully just quit the game, you could have done a lot more in SoT instead of quitting right after losing some treasure.

Then suddenly I was teleported to the ship without the gem and we could not find it anymore... And because it was a quest item it didin't respawn back.

You talk about the coin you get, after you made the 4 riddle vaults? If yes...I have a mindblowing solution for you...cancel the tall tale and then vote it up again out of your inventory...then that coin macigally appears on your voyage table
That's because with getting that coin, you also get a checkpoint

Thanks for all replys! I'm quite supriced that someone actually answered 😂 but yeah, we were doing the Stars of a Thief quest (in shores of gold storyline) where ypu have to find the gems for the shroudbreaker. Actually just found the second one and then the glitch happened so was a little frustrated.
No it doesn't mean we will never play again and we have hag fun, alot of fun, playing sot and we'll keep on playing it for sure! Just quitted for the night and were really uppset!

Just hope that they will patch the glitch away or at least patch it so you won't loose the item in your hand so this kind of things won't happen again.
