Kudos!

  • I have done my fair share of $#!% posting and complaining on these forums in the past, so it's only fair that I give credit where credit is due.

Season 5 is filled to the brim with quality-of-life updates and mechanics that are simply fun. I experienced what can only be described as pure ecstasy the first and every subsequent time I store and take using a storage crate. This is quite possibly my single most anticipated feature, as collecting supplies was a painful chore before this update. After every voyage my crew and I wait for nightfall and put on an extraordinary fireworks show.

I don't care if this falls to the bottom of the forums with no activity or responses, I just want a glimmer of hope that the development team may catch word of this post from their player emissary: kudos! This may not be as exciting for you as A Pirate's Life, and it may not have added the content that the Sunken Kingdom did, but the QoL changes and good-hearted fun are very appreciated. Burying treasure, sitting on furniture, even merely benignly rolling a d20 has been an absolute pleasure.

This may not be the challenging opportunity or exciting content developers yearn to work on, but I can say that at least for my crew this latest update is very exciting and entertaining. Thank you!

  • What amplifies quality of life even more is having the good fortune of having sailed the seas for a long time

Being able to compare what once was to what exists now really enhances the appreciation that one can experience when looking around out there

A rat and I sat and watched a crew shoot fireworks at a kraken yesterday, what a time to be a sailor
