Redeem Missed Twitch Drops

    I had an idea which many people are asking for in the community about having a sort of twitch drop make up weekend. I know that sometimes life gets in the way and you are missing that one piece of a set and it can drive us insane.

    My idea: Make a weekend where the twitch drops give out a rare item in game (maybe an amulet) that can only be exchanged for past twitch drop items.
    Or to make it even more valuable you could have it where you collect pieces of the amulet (not specific pieces but like 2-4 days of watching) per item missed. That way you could do multiple weekends and people could just watch streams when they can and collect the amulet pieces as their schedule allows.

    But this way they are still watching streamers possibly even more than they would if they were on the original day of the drop and then we could complete our missing set pieces.

    @gkubed definitely an unmeet need that rare can capitalize on. Either by charging money for the cosmetics or offering them again on twitch after some delay. The amulet idea would be a fine version of this that is kind of like a coupon system. I imagine this would allow redemption for any missing piece of your choosing. There is definitely a desire out there, and an even larger group of people who don't know about the drops at all. Introducing something to remind them, and tying it to something they can see progress on in game is a good way to drive viewership from new viewers who may just be trying out the game.

    But most people unfortunately don't care enough to support these kinds of suggestions, even in principle, or care just enough to protect their own interests and decline to support anything that would dilute the rarity of their "hardearned" cosmetics.

    I think this is a great idea I wanted the reaper boat set with dual Sythis on it very badly and around that time my grandpa was sick and passed it took me a while to get into it another chance at the ship set would be awesome

    I don't have an issue with past time limited cosmetics being reissued, but if they are to be reissued they should be connected with an event that is at least as difficult as the event in which they were originally released. For this reason I would not be happy with any of the cosmetic rewards from the Reaper voyages being a twitch drop.

    i can hole heartily agree with this as i just learned how twitch drops work like three weeks ago and i had just gotten set and then i look into it and learn i missed out on parts of the set i'm working on right now for twitch drops

    Legit same boat here just caught on to twitch drops had no idea now all i have of the eastern winds sapphire stuff is the bucket, lantern, horn and shovel. I missed out on every twitch drop before hand so all the weapons nothing the fishing rod telescope nothing i have all the ashen dragon and jade stuff too it gets me to my core as this is easily my favorite set so far and ive missed more than half the items already.

    Apparently i missed out on the instruments too this is super disheartening almost enough to make me wanna stop playing sea

    But that is mainly because i dont like many of the cosmetics as is besides the asian ones they got rid of the jade beard i only play with jade and ashen dragon stuff so i dont try to grind for many of the cosmetics as is super bummed.

    Tune in to the official twitch over Christmas as there's bound to be another stream with random old drops.

    @jinn187 Those are the Shipwreck Reaper Sails. They weren't a twitch drop. They are time limited from an event in early 2019. They won't be coming back.
