Pvp Idea for Boat Layouts

If when or ever the devs decide to do a bit of layout improvements for the ships why not add lift lines? Like the ones from pirates of the Caribbean or the Asasinse creeds series. You cut a rope with a weight and it lifts you to the top. My idea is that it'll on the sloop it'll be 2 lines, the brig 3 or 4 and the gallery 5 or what have you. Then wood plans shall be placed on the top of the sail lines. I mean you can jump on them already from the crows nest. Why not have the lines to give the chance to the crew who is losing the battle. Get a height advantage. For escape from a fight for a bit and eat or get a shot. Because the only options anyone has for fighting is run and get space then eat or jump off your boat. Any ideas or thoughts??
