Quest stay on you when you leave game.

  • Hello

I would like quests to stay in you when you leave the game, like all the ones you haven't been able to complete when you leave the game.

  • Not possible due to the way the game is set up. The same crew isn't playing together all the time, and being able to 'save' a voyage will just lead to increases in combat logging.

  • It’s a session based game.
Besides the quest you didn’t finish could be worse than the new one you start next.

  • Do you realise how many quests some people would have after three and a half years ?

  • I think it’s a great idea. I have had at least 3 sets of emissary quests I did not have time to complete🤪

So at least 20 pages of cargo runs...8 per page, so 160, each 10 cargos...1600 cargos...omg, that's a lot of work...

  • @generolhavoc01 ahoy matey and welcome to the forum!

Others have said really a lot of what needs to be said - the game has always had a time aspect to it and you don't have to complete quests, as they don't provide the rep that handing in loot does.

You can save tall tales, but that makes sense given that things can happen such as server or game crashes that make you lose content such as the quest items, plus they are more of a story-driven thing than the other quests.

The only quests that should take longer than around 30 - 60 minutes to complete are also the Athena quests, so sometimes it's just about balancing your playtime with the activities you undertake.

I often leave quests on the table - left an Athena one last night as I was just using it for the miles.
