Let me preface this by saying that this addition would need to come with a big overhaul to the interface of the whole My Pirate tab.
So, Journals. You see them a lot in the Sea of Thieves, either as part of an emergent quest-giver, as part of Tall Tales, or even as part of the Legend of Glitterbeard. What I want to suggest here is that once read, the Journal's entry will be added to a tab under My Pirate, probably under Bilge Rats or Legend of the Seas. It wouldn't necessarily have to list the location of the Journals other than if they are emergent or part of a Tall Tale and grouping them together in a logical way.
This new tab would add something more for people who like to collect things and for people who like to peruse the Lore. For the Lorehounds it would provide a great in-game resource for them to easily flick to the Journal they need to go over some of the details and it would also create a less daunting entry point for people who would like to learn more about the lore too. Being able to read the Journals in your Inventory would also give players another thing to do and check out whilst they are sailing. For the people who like to collect, it'd be a fun reason to just run up to that emergent Journal laying on the beach and see if it is one you haven't got yet.
Anyway, that's kind of the very basic overview of what I'd like to see added somewhere down the line. I'm not sure if it would be feasible or if it would add too much to an already busy series of menus and sub-menus, but it felt like it could be something that could be done that has a myriad of possibilities about it.
