    When choosing a ship to start a session, there should be an Any Ship Will Do option. Sometimes I just can't decide! 😅

    But when choosing the ship you normally know who you would be playing with, hence which ship you will choose. If you have 3 people to play with, so you would choose a galleon, but click surprise me and it gives a sloop, that wouldn’t go down well

    what you could do with this is use it for open crew

    "any ship" and it'll bounce you around any ship size but you never join a game that hasn't left the dock yet

    it's not really a cheese tool as it actually brings in more chances of nothing happening as a lot of open crew galleons and new players will be thrown into the mix to balance out not spawning in the tavern

    Could be a fun little box of chocolates open crew option imo and still keeps the open crew spirit and the total random chaos of it all

    Sometimes I like playing with random people, I guess its a good idea

    May be nice if they put me on any ship that is already sailing. Cause mostly now you join the ships in outposts

    I would like if open crew had an option to JOIN an open crew instead of starting one.

    Yes. JOIN a crew is what I want to do when doing open crew.

    We really need a server browser of some sort. Yes, it would make alliance servers easier but whatever, who cares.

    Besides, breaking alliance servers apart is the most fun I've had in this game, getting chased by 3 or 4 ships is exhilarating, and most times they are PvE players so sinking them is a little bit easier.

    For open play yes that should be an option.
    Just "quickplay" on the main screen.

    Open groups are a dark place though, enter that zoo at your own risk.
    Be prepared for cremate to drop treasure overboard and burn the ship and blunderbomb the crew when patching holes.

    I have been choosing open crew a lot more lately instead of solo slooping, and it is very alarming how quickly things can fall apart from just 1 rotten apple.
