Has anyone else dealt with when one of your crew mates dies and comes back from the ferryman their character is a green skeleton? It happens every game with me at some point.

Absolutely! It’s kind of funny but in my experience it seems to happen as a result of my console/pc not loading textures in fast enough. Harmless and I believe it comes down to losing textures. It doesn’t happen to me when I play PC but on the Xbox One S it casually happens.
I’d guess hardware is the culprit, but I suppose lag could cause it? Unsure!
Green Skeletons are a placeholder model. If the game cannot load a pirate's model, it will put the placeholder there. You can fix that by either having them go out of render distance (which is usually too far, but going to the ferry works or taking a mermaid as those refresh and move you far off) OR you can have them de-equip one cosmetic and it will refresh their pirate. But other than that i find it a delight to see when i get it!
