Plz hear me out about this one facepaint
@joe-krakatoa ye its not like anyone uses it tbh even if someone has it like they dont rly care about it and its not that its that much of a flexin item just its a nice general halloween facepaint irl and other games when its halloween it should be timelimited only for halloween cuz its only a facepaint nthing else
@realstyli they can do smth like a recolor but just making the lips black cuz using a different recolor on it will lose its meaning of the skull
as a new player I would love to see that facepaint added back since I don't think it rly counts as a big achievement and in this country I am we rly love halloween and I rly think like u about the cosmetic is more like a halloween cosmetic nothing special tbh I hope rare re-releases it this halloween
@acecartoon29036 thank u mate I really apreaciate that tbh the problem with rare is they release a lot of time limited items and kinda loose the meaning of it if u want to make it good for veterans they have the sailor sword or the hat or even earlier the brave vanguard or they can make 1 or max 2 items per event time limited for players that are veterans but these time limited things loose the meaning for new players cuz if ur good we can see that by ur skills or if ur rly a veteran u have older items its ok but like this was a halloween event nothing to do with being a veteran
@muarembossi I play this game from 2019 and yes now that u mention i never saw that item aswell tbh wouldnt even mind if they would add it it would make the facepaint collection pretty nice since theres not that good facepaints in this game and it seems that one on the picture rly deserves to be a halloween item i hope rare adds it tho
@captainrasha exactly thats what i mean no one uses it and no one would even be mad if they re-released it,its not an item that makes u look too pro or a long playing veteran its only a halloween facepaint
@muarembossi I think even if they don’t personally use it, a decent portion of vets wouldn’t want it to be brought back. A similar face paint sure but if you bring back one limited item then that opens toe door for everything else as well.
@ninja-naranja yes but thats the only thing that can be considered skullface well only if they would add black lips like the reapers facepaint that would be kind of different and the vets could get that too or they could add black lips and 2 lines from both of the lips ends and then more vertical lines on top of that to make it like a ripped jaw or smth . @wolfmanbush ye that could be cool to my facepaint is more like a general theemed halloween facepaint and kinda resembles the purge to make it more like a recolored version of skullfacepaint since theyre not rereleasing it but ur idea is nice too
This could work as a replace too for us that we dont have it since u consider a halloween item time limited once a lifetime link text

Yeah, no. Sea of Thieves gets less and less Time Limited items because of players like you folks. Nothing derogatory- just you guys as a whole always come to the game, complain about time limited cosmetics, so Rare has pretty much stopped doing them, save for a few titles. Now, that Rare has all but stopped doing Time Limited things, you ask for some of the only time limited items to come back? No. Hard pass for me.
The last real major Time Limited group of stuff we got was the Mercenary Ship set, which has already been a twitch drop once or twice as well. That set was a 2019 exclusive. We hardly get time limited content on the scale of how we did in 2018 and 2019 anymore, leave those items be. They are old, and relics of the past. Time Limited Cosmetics are a dying breed in SOT, leave the survivors alone.

It's not really "unfair". People who played at that time got it. I don't see any "unfairness" about that.
Nevertheless, they probably just make new ones for the next Halloween.I know mate im not talkin about all the facepaints there there was a total of 3 and a lantern im talkin about that exact item every game i played when halloween comes ull get that item to buy the skullface its like a general theme for halloween for games that part unfair was maybe mb butit kinda suks

@muarembossi Idk if it's necessarily "unfair"—it just seems really strange for SoT to release this item within the first year and never again, even though the player-base is much larger now than when it was released.
The fact there hasn't even been a reskin in the years since is what's the most frustrating IMO.
@tenseiga23 recolor idk about the skull one cuz u cant make a recolor of that one cuz it will loose the meaning maybe a slight redesign like the one i posted the link above smth like that
