I know it was discontinued, we weren't really provided with an answer why. I know most of you are going to say it's far more toxic than adventure blah blah blah, however, I've encountered more toxicity on adventure mode than I have in the arena, and I've been playing arena since it came out (with the occasional breaks due to the lack of content throughout the whole game at the time). I know, PVE players hate people who can double gun properly, they don't like being killed and PVP players are deemed as toxic.
The very least the PVP community could ask for is at least some attention... PVE has been the focus of the game ever since the arena had come out and it's sad to let such potential go to waste. Sea of Thieves is one of the most unique games on the market, I've never seen anything like it.
The "Thieves" in Sea of Thieves needs to have a bolder name in this game, with people who don't like the fact people are better than them, reporting those who stole all their hard-earned loot because they find PVP more of a fun way of playing the game.
The next way forward is through PVP, too much PVE content has been added, it's all starting to be recycled. The only new addition is the Pirates of the Caribbean update. Which is already getting old as most people have completed it all already.
A new way to enjoy PVP in Sea of Thieves would be amazing, whether thats a new addition to the arena with some fixes that come with it like:
-hit reg
-backtrack
-the inability to shoot guns sometimes
-chests in arena (should be removed and never brought back)
Lets try and make PVP a fun experience for everyone, rather than something you would find on the bottom of your shoe walking through slums. I know this will most likely be ignored, but hopefully some of my thoughts are brought into consideration. Lets add content, rather than removing it/ recylcing it.
