Ocean Crawler Spawns during tall tales that should not have ocean crawlers

I have been grinding through the original tall tales in hopes of getting the gold curse in the base game and maybe it has been fixed but multiple times I have had ocean crawler creatures spawn at unpreferable times of the tall tale such as the multiple wave fight in the trapmakers lair. The crawlers also seem to be unaffected by the traps in this specific instance which adds an extra challenge that got me killed multiple times per run.
