Merchant Mission: did not spawn ship (twice) found manifest floating in the sea

    Just did two lost shipment missions. Got the captain's key for both of them but did not get to use it because no sunken ship. I have done this mission before many times but the ship did not spawn. Did find the manifest though floating in the water under the normal cloud of birds. Dove all the way do and no ship.

    it's been inconsistent since it started

    even with the glitches it's still pretty profitable and easy to do a few in a short time just gotta take the bad with the good I guess I dunno if that voyage will ever be totally fixed

    at least you easily get the manifest now the ships used to be buried in the ground and you couldn't access them at all or they didn't spawn but there was no manifest

    I had a similar issue.

    found the ship, and started looting it when sirens showed up, went back to My ship to reload and shoots them.

    Then i swam back down.. and the merchnt vessal and all the rest of the loot had vanished.

    I think other players are finding the end ship and because they interacted with it, the ship thinks it's done and despawns.

    Just a theory I've been kicking around...

    found new ship. it stayed.
    but was guarded by endlessly respawning elite sirens.
