Donating treasure to another crews ship

    So I'm working my way through the 'warsmith of the flame' commendation to get the cannons. I drive head first into a skelly ship, jump on board, flame the ship until it ignites, then drop the skull, dive over board, get a mermaid, repair boat, cannon skelly ship aaaaaaaaand then finally retrieve the items.

    Normal day on the sea of thieves.

    However, I've noticed I'm getting the 'pirate philanthropist' progress every time I drop the skull on board a skelly ship. Its probably a dumb way to get the title, but it seems there may be a way to get the title without other players lol.

    @sirfandango You are correct placing loot on skeleton ships also counts... however, I am not sure I could handle the stress of dropping 100 items on a skeleton ship hehe.

    I wasn't able to test it, but I think it works if you pick up loot from another players boat and just drop it again.

    So basically the flags of friendship title might also be best finished by:

    • Boarding and killing everyone aboard another ship that has loot

    • Picking up and dropping the loot

    • Sinking the ship and stealing the loot

    • Putting on Pirate Philanthropist title & dancing around

    Oh the irony if this actually works.

    @musicmee Skelly ships have loot on them right? You might be able to pick that up and drop it back on the deck.

    Still tedious though.

    I just fill a rowboat with my loot and row over to an unsuspecting new player boat and dock it and leave

    as for the skelly ship just pick up the loot and drop it when you board a skelly rather than take loot to it

    you can pick up multiple items and drop them without carrying anything that way if you wanna do it the skelly way

    @sirfandango It does say another cress boat, not another player crews boat.
