I was just wondering if we knew or there was a possibility of new pets coming. I know everyone’s talking about the crab in the trailer, but they’re always about! Still I’d love it if it meant we could get a crab pet?
Tiger cub pets would be cool too, as would Ferrets & owls. Anyway- I’m just hoping we get new pets! Although I’m blown away by the content and update coming in less than a week, pets would be a nice cherry on top :P
I concur, I would also love to see more pets added to the game. I think the first step rare can take that anymore pets would be allowing us to acquire the in-game animals as pets. Pigs, chickens, and snakes. I can imagine how many pirates you get scared stiff after seeing a snake slithering on their deck.
Since these are in game animals, I can see an in-game NPC selling them. Maybe Add them to the inventories of the seaport merchants. Better yet, they can add an exotic pet merchant that changes his stock seasonally. Each pet he has matches the event in the season.
As for actual new pets, although I would like to get my hands on a white tiger kitten, I really love to get my hands on a bone white baby Kraken. Which would also work with the seasonal exotic pet merchant.
