Please do not release the ferry man set that came with the limited edition controller with the pirate life update :/ It's one of the most unique sets out there and should not be devalued. If you release it then all limited items you try to sell in the future will be worthless as there will be no point in buying them.
Don't be lazy Rare, create a new set if you must!

Hope so, otherwise anything that Microsoft/Rare says is limited is horseshit and people should not waste their money on said products. It might even be illegal if something is advertised as limited and they change it afterwards.
Ferryman wasn't even advertised as limited... It was advertised as exclusive - that's even more clear verbiage that this set is not supposed to be released into the game.
Lol I am agreeing with you that it shouldn't be released, I am just adding to your point that the cosmetics were advertised as "exclusive" which is even more strict than "limited."

Thou seeing as the sword is featured on the new logo, I think Rare is going renege on their "exclusive" verbage.

I never said it was an investment. Investments earn returns.
The controller was sold as limited time release with exclusive cosmetics. It was Microsoft/Rare's verbiage. They sold people on the ferryman items being exclusive, it is bad faith on them to back peddle now. It is one the reasons many like myself bought the controller. If it was their intention to make it available later on, then they should not have falsely advertised it as exclusive. It is the protentional false advertisement that i am bothered about.
The game is built around unique cosmetics, It is human motivation to value things that are exclusive. Rare is going to lose trust in selling future products labeled as exclusive/limited if they re-release previously listed exclusive items. In the long term, it is going to leave their loyal customers with a bad taste.

Like I mentioned before in a different thread, the logo for "A Pirate's Life" is the Ferryman's sword crossed with a sword that's 100% a Davey Jones sword.
I think they're just using it as imagery to show the feud between what is essentially two Ferryman/Forces of death

@drizkillz The Ferryman sucks with a sniper, he lost his shootin' eye long ago, so he doesn't use one, nor did he order one made!
