On Xbox you are able to mark the setting to prefer players with controllers only, but unfortunately on PC there is no such option. The reason I am asking for this is my friends and I play on both Xbox and PC, but we all play with controllers. And unfortunately, there is a massive disadvantage (As with most games) when faced with fighting against a player that is clearly using mouse and keyboard, the advantage in their favour is quite crazy, as there is no aim assist or similar balancing features as with other cross platform games. Therefore my suggestion is to simply have the option to match with other controller players across both platforms.

They already do this on Xbox with a box that spoofs controller signal lol. So much for those Xbox controller-only servers.
@wolfmanbush I guess I would hope there would be peripheral detection that would then boot you out of the server in the case it detected an input change.
@sparkslegend don't let them on your ship...pc advantage doesn't exist when you keep them away from a personal fight...I'm on XBox, playing on crossplay servers only and I sink pc players all the time
The % of people doing that is probably less than 1 so i don't think it's a huge deal.
