I'm not positive if this has been covered elsewhere, and I am sure that it was intentionally done, yet it feels as if the chance to be struck by lightning is excessively high. Over the course of around two or three minutes, I was struck five times on Plunder Valley. It was more of a test just to see how often it could happen during a storm. It didn't reduce the quality of my game experience, but it does give me a jump scare each and every time. And when it happens 5 times, I begin to expect to be struck by lightning during every storm. It's not as much of a surprise as it used to be, it seems.
Does anyone else feel like the chance that they are struck by lightning is a bit too high? I like that the mechanic exists in the first place, but it's certainly a little finicky. It would be nice if lightning had some more utility overall if it is to be such an omnipresent function. Yes, I understand lightning occurs in storms. No, I am not trying to complain.
But I do want to open up an avenue for discussion about lightning and storms generally. How could the mechanics be tweaked to make them more integral to the experience of the Seas?
