Suggestion - Cancel emissary votes when the ship moves out of range of the outpost

  • There is an exploit where a crew can raise or lower an emissary flag without being near an outpost. They do this by voting with a minority vote at the outpost, then when they want to raise the flag, all they have to do is have one player leave the game and rejoin. So in effect, they can raise the reaper bones flag whenever they choose. This way they can avoid being marked on the map if they sink a ship they can raise the reaper flag on the spot.

If all votes are canceled when the ship sails away from the outpost then it wouldn't be possible to do this.

  • This should have been fixed a long time ago.

Hide the flag, swim the flag 10 miles, run that flag right into the red sea that's your choice

This is a significant exploit that negatively affects the risk/reward environment and should be treated as a priority issue

  • I dont see the point "Raising" a flag before leaving an outpost. Surprise! were a Reaper :/ not much.

Tho the idea with, Voting to lower said flag when you are being chased, Sure. BUT they lose the extra value of any loot they may still have on the ship.

So its either, turn in the loot before lowering. Gain that extra gold. Or lower it premature and gain only what, 5000 gold. With loot on deck.

  • No argument here...
