I am having problems with voice chat when playing on xbox and I also have a question about text chat.
When I play with the "Prefer Xbox players with controllers" option turned on other crews can't hear me and I can't hear them. When I can't hear them it could be due to them not having a mic, but should't they be able to hear me no matter what? People in my crew has the same problem. We have always been using the ingame voice chat. When we play with the "Prefer Xbox players with controllers" turned off, we don't have this issue most of the time.
I am not great at the game, so I would prefer to play with "Prefer Xbox players with controllers" option turned on, but it is very hard to communicate with only the radial menu. A workaround could be to use a keyboard to text chat, put keyboards are disabled when using "Prefer Xbox players with controllers", so that is not an option. I know you can text chat with the controller, but that is too slow to be useful.
