Future of Bilge Rat Doubloons

For a while now The Black Market hasn’t received cosmetics and instead we receive all cosmetics via the normal outpost shops and seasons. This has left the Bilge Rat doubloons being relatively useless. Only real use currently is buying an emergency ashen chest/key or a Thieves Haven run quest. We’re still receiving a surplus of doubloons however via the seasons and general gameplay. Are there any plans for them such as a doubloon cosmetic sink or will they be left to pile up with no purpose?
