Dissapearing lost shipment ship

    I've just spent half an hour looking for a ship after gathering all the clues and taking another half hour to find the hiden captain key.
    There was one gigantic flock of birds in the general area where I had to look for.

    I thought it wont be it because usually its a tiny flock for the sunken ship you're looking for, but still looked underwater, and there was nothing.

    So I was looking for the actual ship for 30 minute before coming back to the gigantic flock of birds wondering if I have went insane or blind, and dove deep below the surface.

    I get the notification that the voyage is over, yet there is nothing underwater????????? I see floating above me the merchant"s book or something but nothing else. What is this scammaz

    Losing hours of grind by pvp'ers I dont mind, but losing an hour because of a glitch? come on now please fix the game.

    As for the reason why the ship had dissapeared, I suspect that it tried to spawn way too close to the K9 unmarked Island. I couldnt see a ship fit there.

    This has happened to me a couple times. It happens when the ship messes with the surrounding terrain. There’s no fix for the bug yet, so all you can do is hope it doesn’t happen again.

    You were too slow, normally when the shipwreck despawns (which isn't cuz of the surrounding terrain because i have it despawn on me multiple times in the middle of a open sea) the book you have to pick up to finish the voyage will be floating in the water where that huge group of birds are.

    In your case you took to long (over 15 minutes) to finish it so it despawned on you making the voyage auto-complete itself.

    @itz-majman I've had the shipwreck be there an hour after I dropped the voyage and also had it gone in under 10 minutes, im not sure time is it.

    I'm not sure why it bugs out, but ita annoying.

    Yes, I've done this voyage about 100 times and have had the flock of gulls manifest in the water "glitch" probably 10 times or so. Its not time related, but more if something interferes with the shipwreck (ie world events, islands), but I'm not sure. I swear I could see my final shipwreck birds near Ancient Spire, then a ship spawned at that outpost, and my small flock of birds changed to large, leaving the manifest in the water.
    Yet other times, I've found somebody else's shipwreck but their manifest isn't visible for me to take, just the skeleton. This voyage has always been glitchy, but it's a quick way to make some coin.
