Hi,
Me and me ship mate are trying to get our mics working in game and just cannot do it. We have both googled and googled the ship out of this and tried numerous things.
The odd thing is, in game, push to talk is off so and when I speak - the speech box in the top right corner flashes on both our screens which shows it recognises and is picking up our audio, but we still cannot hear each other or communicate using voice with others.
Any advice please?

ISSUE RESOLVED.
I went to: https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115012749647-Windows-10-Audio-Chat
Then this step worked:
Configure the individual Microphone input for Sea of Thieves
Boot Sea of Thieves
Minimise Sea of Thieves
From the system tray in the bottom right corner of Windows, right click the Speaker Icon and select Open Sound Settings
Scroll down to the Advanced Sound Options and select App Volume and Device Preferences
As Sea of Thieves is open, it will show in the displayed list. From here you can specify the output and input.

if you are on xbox go to support site and tell them and make your setting to comunicate with people outside xbox live.
