Hey, everytime I go on Sea of Thieves I start having extreme lag. I rubberband everytime I walk. I get kicked out of games, I'm disconnected from Xbox Live parties, hell I even got outright disconnected from Xbox Live. This only happens in Sea of Thieves, no other game does this. And my internet is fine seeing how it's only my Xbox acting up. Does anyone know why it does this and if so how? it's the reason I stopped playing so it sucks because I was getting into the grind for SoT.
Extreme Lag
My friend had started to suffer the same as you.. He was playing on the Xbox series S. He eventually uninstalled the game, reinstalled and updated and things were back to normal. Sometimes you might get a bad updated patch which will cause this on xbox. Also, if you can hardwire your xbox, do so. It makes a huge difference on this game.

The question for your NAT is already specific...
I assume you are on XBox...?
Go into settings, network settings, on the right side it tells you which NAT-type you have@schwammlgott well, it depends on the context. It coul dbe in-game, or in the settings. And look at that, it says moderate. aka pretty good

I, for example, am not able to play Halo online at all, when my NAT isn't open...so if other games work fine for you, maybe try it with @needsmokes

Different games might not work the same under a specific NAT status. Your NAT type should be 'Open' to ensure that everything with the game works properly.
