The game is growing and we are seeing it, but today I was thinking: how the game can add new gameplay re-using what we have now and make it re-playable? Then it came to my mind: Climb and cliffs.
Yes, climbing, but how? Probably you'll think about Assassin's Creed mechanics (boooring) or the one of Tomb Raider or Jedi Fallen Order (just going straight and that's it). But what if we add some extra difficulty to make it a challenge and also to stop that kind of players that just climbs everything to try to exploit some mechanics? After all, climb should be tiring but should create that feeling of satisfaction once you have reach the top.
This is how it should work:
- First, there must to be a wall that allows you to climb.
- Once you approach and activate the climb mechanics you will see 3 buttons (one at the left, front, right of your camera), so for climbing you will need to press one of the buttons hightlighted every time you wanna step up. If you dont press the right button in the time asked you will fall or if you stay too long hanging you will fall also. With this you can create new quests, new paths in the islands and new storylines.
Cliffs to walk along the wall:
What I mean with this? Have you played Uncharted or some adventure game? there is always this moment where you need to walk slowly along a wall in a mountain to reach some point. I think this should be added also to find other places in islands (or maybe future continents) to add more variety in the game.
