I was wondering for a long time when will the merfolk will get some love, and I don't see it happening. The only time we heard about an
update to the merfolk is at the sunken curse.
And let's face it, this was lazy and boring.
So I came up with this idea.
First, it coud make a new faction. That they would sell you the voyage. I dont have a name for the faction because I'm not good at naming. At the
voyage you will be sent off to find a mermaid
statue. But its not like the regular statues.
it's more deep in the water and far from land. it will be be defended by sharks, and when you destroy it the merfolks will notice that
the statue has been destroyed and will come
out, fight you and will try to take it back.
if you die in the fight you will fail the voayge
and you will need to start a new one. When you
give it to the faction they will make a potion
of breathing underwater and will give you a
map where is the sunken city at.
When you find the place you drink the potion
and you dive underwater. Eventually you will
get to the city, you enter and there will be traps
like at the tall tale shores of gold and heart of fire.
afer all the traps you will go to a room and there will be a cursed chest. the ones you take the chest the place will start filling up with water and merfolks will get in and will ones again try
to get it back. if you made it to the ship the
merfolks will jump from the water to kill you
and even damage your ship because the chest's
curse is that the merfolks can see the chest
when it's moving. they will keep attake until the
chest is sold, then they will give up.
I hope one day rare will finally give an update
to the merfolks.
