As title says, i can't get any missions or anything alliance related, since it takes a while to load, just to get a "i'm having difficulties at the moment, come back later".
On top of that, the only shops that i have access to, are the weapon and ship's part shops.
It's the steam verion, and I tried everything:
check file integrity
reinstall the game
ports open
firewall and antivirus disabled
connected and logged into xbox app
Can't access alliance menus or most shops
I opened a ticket about it and I was told to try a different connection such as, mobile hotspot. Somehow it started to work again. However, I cannot use my mobile just to play this game, because everything drains data while I'm on the PC. They really need to find some other solutions other than forcing us to use different connections.
@trithaitus Changing connection and having it work again seems to imply something is being blocked on your PC connection. Try temporarily disabling antivirus or firewall to see if that fixes it, or checking your router settings to make sure it's not blocking.
@d3adst1ck Yeah, exactly. It is definitely something to do with my connection. I tried calling my ISP to see if there is some kind of blockage on my connection (I also told them that I'm able to do stuff with my mobile hotspot that I cannot do with myhome internet), and I did not really get a solid answer. I also tried disabling my antivirus and firewall still and nothing. Using DNS also did not do well for me.

Same boat here. Opened a ticket and tried everything: disable antivirus/firewall, double checked all accounts are logged in and connected, reinstalled SoT and anything i could think of. I'd like to try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjMeAXnz2Cc

I tried the link you provided, did not improve my situation unfortunately... At this point I'll just quit game for a while to see if time makes a difference, because I also cannot access to certain NPC's to buy missions.@trithaitus I just tried to use a vpn and it kinda worked:
I can finally access all shops (no pirate emporium if i remember correctly) and all emissary menu. Unfortunately only "kimda" because when i tried to test it by buying a hat, it wouldn't process the order.
It might be the vpn (my connection it's already bad, and the vpn wouldn't help. Plus it's a free one, with pretty busy servers)@nx6749 hey, i have this exact same problem too, any fix yet? i really enjoy the game, but having trouble committing because if this issue.
