Mast falling despite being pulled up

    Is this a bug or what? We pull the masts up just so it can immediately fall again for no reason and trying to save it with the rope doesnt do anything. It just slows the fall.

    Its very stupid.

    @thejoegrizzly after you raise the sail, make sure that you repair the mast itself with planks or else it will fall again

    @capncackbury We dont get a chance. it just immediately falls again despite the sails not being down

    It is sea of thieves... Of course it is a bug.... you have to let the sail fall all the way down and then bring it back up.... Thanks rare

    It's a semi-common bug and really gamebreaking the few times it happens. Nothing you can really do about it sadly except keep raising it.

    @itz-majman this is the thing.... this game is so broken that we just accept the issue and try to get work arounds instead of looking at the DEVS saying WHY ARE YOU ASKING FOR MONEY WHEN YOU CANT FIX YOUR GAME

    Yeah this is a really annoying bug I've lost a few arena fights to it, seems to happen most on a sloop which isnt much of a problem, but sometimes it happens on a galleon, which is really bad because it takes ages to raise the sail again.

    This apears to be a bug that only happens on the sloop, were you have to let the mast fully drop or you cant repair it at all.

    Why was your mast down? During a fight?
    Flip your wheel into a turn, harpoon and load the cannons. Your still floating keep fighting and repair later.
