Sadly, that seems to be a common developer behavior in modern days. "Here are the test servers, please help us improve our game, but we will ignore 80% of your feedback".
If it will make anybody feel any better, it's not just Rare.
My personal theory is that snowflake generations have begun to pick up the works of the serious people, and this is the result. Voluntary and good-intention work is not appreciated well enough. Quality of service and products gets worse everywhere by the day. Not to mention milking people off their money being prioritized to the absolute possible maximum.
