What is up with this? My two friend left 30 minutes ago and they are still appearing in my Crew, so I cannot invite my other friends to join. Why is this? I am on Xbox Series X, and my friends are on PC (Yes I am on a server for PC). The option to invite people to game (or the option to join game for my friend) are grayed out.
This crew member has disconnected but may rejoin within a certain time period.
I have also been having this issue as of this past Sunday, February 7, 2021. In addition to getting Hazelnutbeard errors almost every 10 minutes.
When this was happening one player could sometimes invite someone else to the crew while others still saw the disconnected player. Sometimes it would still show the disconnected player's name in the crew even after the new player joined. Eventually nobody could rejoin or be replaced and we had to abandon the server.
At least one person on reddit said that the beard errors went away after switching to a more stable build of the console OS. It's possible that might resolve the issues with the connected players names remaining on the crew if those players are getting disconnected due to Hazelnutbeard.
@the-crazy-beard man I am glad that the Hazelnutbeard error isn't only on my side! I timed it and it was exactly 10 minutes and 15 seconds before it disconnect me, from the moment I could move my character. I played a whole night like this, it was hell. I contacted the support but they only asked if I had a VPN, which I don't, and I doubt this is relevant on Xbox console anyways? (I don't really know much about this). And they gave me a bunch of solution for PC, even if I told them I was on Xbox Series X. I was able to play this afternoon, solo, and I didn't get the error :)
me too. we where sailing as a duo on a sloop for 6hours. After about 4h he got disconnects about every 10minutes. It did not help to restart computer, router...
Then I got a disconnect and could not rejoin, since still part of his Crew.
We had to leave all our loot worth around 300k plus 2lvl 5 reapers flags and some others we got from a reaper sloop that attacked us multiple times.
I play the game since launch. There are issues like the ones when servers are changed that I got used to. But having to quit the game like today is so frustrating that I am about to quit this game once and for all.@benigraber Hey there, please note that resurrecting very old threads is not permitted.
