Good evening! I was just playing and turned in the Tome of Curses II from an Ashen Chest, but I didn't receive the commendation achievement, and I'm unable to purchase the Jacket of the Ashen Dragon (which would typically unlock after turning that item in). I turned the item in about ten minutes or so ago (10:45 or so EST) under the same account that I'm using to create this post. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

@dibleyvicar another quick note...I actually also sold the Tome of Resurrection III from the same chest. While I see that achievement is unlocked on my profile, I can't buy the corresponding capstan that's supposed to go with it :(
@dibleyvicar Same happened to me, but with Tome of Power II. I sold it, I have received my doubloons, but when I look on the items it's supposed to unlock, they are still locked.
