Flame Heart is bugged and The Burning Blades escort ships seem invincible.

  • When fighting Flame Heart the ghost ships cannons will shoot to the center of the island and then towards your ship, this issue makes the cannon balls travel ridiculous distances and also you dont even have to he in the line of fire to be hit.

    The escort ships that follow the burning blade seem to be invincible from what I could tell, also, some of the ghost ships take up to 7 shots to be taken down when its supposed to be 3 shots.

  • Ran into this earlier. One of the most broken, and hilarious bugs in the game yet, lol.

    We got past the escort ships not popping in 3 hits quickly enough, but then we were half panicking half laughing our butts off when Flameheart turns the island into the superlaser focusing iris from the Death Star!

    Wondering if the escort ship thing is on purpose as the Burning Blade is now protected on all sides where they were in a V formation before.

  • Definitely a bug. When doing the Ghost ship voyages the ships next to the formation leader were completely invincible, but not the ships on the outer flanks, nor the formation leaders themselves. These ships were also frequently playing catch-up by gaining rapid speed at random intervals, which leads me to think the ship positions client-side vs server side aren’t being synced properly (hence the island starts shooting ghosts at you).

    I suspect there might be a bug where the formations don’t teleport on the client side but do on the server side.

    A change in tactics (ie. targeting the formation leaders directly) allowed me to complete it successfully, but it was quite annoying so it needs to be fixed urgently.

  • @galactic-geek It looks quite funny. You see the phantom shots come out of the cannons for a split second, before they zoom all the way to the centre of the island, before resuming trajectory and slamming your ship.

  • @mferr11 When I first seen it I thought it would be a one time thing, so I clipped it... nope every time we do flame heart it happens lol.

    The annoying part was when another ship came in trying to take flame heart out and steal the event, the ghost ships that would normal target them instead shot our ship on the opposite side of the island.

  • Same here, thought it was just a bug on my end, but it seems to be a pretty big issue for everyone.
