Just a little fun way of sharing your first day experience:
Go check your Xbox achievements (from the Xbox Console Companion app if on PC) and sort your achivements for unlocked ones, they shoul automatically be in chronolgical order.
Apparently I've eaten a banana, somone killed me and stole my loot, but I also leveled up a company and killed the Kraken, tbh I remember only the last thing.
I was playing on a Galleon with 3 friends that were relatively new to the game too and yes, my very first day I got Krakened literally as soon as we got away from the outpost. I remember feeling a lot of pressure because I didn't know how to do anything but didn't want my crew to sink because of my incompetence. We surely defeated the kraken but I was on the lower decks all the time, both because I was scared and because the only thing I learned in the heat of the battle was patching up holes.
