(Google Trad, sorry)
I really like that the game often teases the arrival of new content through little clues around the world.
But sometimes I have the feeling that these little puzzles only interest the most invested people and do not sufficiently arouse the curiosity of casual gamers.
I appreciate that the game is developing and transforming with its many updates, but I still don't have the feeling that we are living the change.
So here is my idea regarding the prospective addition or extension of buildings in the world of Sea of Thieves :
<As the business in the Sea of Thieves grows and newcomers try their luck, the outposts and companies desperately need to expand.
>A guild of builders have started work all over the place. But the waters are so hostile that the supply of resources is severely disrupted.
Requests for donations are put in place to complete the various sites as quickly as possible: plank, fabrics, rocks, etc., anything that can be used for construction is welcome.
<Beyond the waves are a few mining sites. Loggers, miners and farmers brave the dangers of these cursed islands in order to extract raw resources.
These poor workers fear above all that one day a horde of skeletons will arrive to take them captive. If that happens, who could save them ?
The goal of new NPCs is to provide a new way to visually introduce new buildings in a phased and interactive way between updates.
The Builders Guild and their workers have a lot of information to share, and doing business with them is a good way to glean top secret information.
Example of the introduction of a new building:
SEASON 1 :
week 1 - site preparation / first rumors
week 2 - first foundations / start of the call for donations
week 3 - 1/3 of construction
week 4 - more rumors
week 5 - 2/3 of construction
week 6 - etc...
SEASON 2 :
week 1 - opening of the new building and preparation of the next site
week 2 - etc ...
And voilà, an idea that aims to increase the feeling that we are in a world that is constantly evolving, with more lively NPCs and more lively outposts.
Thanks for reading !
