Pretty simple suggestion, and I think it's much more immersive than just having fruit washed up on shore being perfectly clean and healthy. You could have banana, coconut, pomegranate and mango trees, and a rarer pineapple plant. They could refresh every few ingame days, so it's not an effective farming method. Hitting the tree with a sword or shooting the fruit would cause it to fall down. I just think islands should be a bit more interactive, they're very static.

@mferr11 Fruit is generic second rate food. I prefer to kill pigs and chickens, catch fish and cook the meat which is superior to to heal and regen effects. I actually would like to see it more of a requirement to harvest food then find it in barrels in unlimited supplies to include row boats.
