Couple buddies of mine were playing one of the main quest and we got a random pop up message about the world is changing. Next thing happened was we were all back in the tavern. We played for a good two hours and lost all our progress. We just want to know is this a bug or it is supposed to happen. I get it wants to merge us to a different server perhaps but are we forced to repeat the quest?

You have encountered something that i never heard of before, if i was you i would file in a ticket in the customer support . What happened to you is absolutely not normal , in normal situations ,the game shows that messages , the Sea "freezes " for a split second and.. you just sail on with everything still on your ship.

Basically the support team can't help me but they will try to fix the problem. Unfortunate but it is what it is. Thank you!
