Has anybody encountered issues with Pl Presents and 12 days of giving not tracking the stats right?
I gave a crew over 40 chest and it only counted for 4/25 chest for the first half, and for the cursed cannonball only counted for 1/11, and I was flying the reaper flag.
Just curious if other people are experiencing this issue and should I put in a support ticket?
You are correct. We had to kill about double the skeleton captains to get that achieved. My cursed ball count stopped at 5. But there is no way I'm mistaken with the 5 stolen chests. We sank a boat that completed a fort and sold all the loot. Still registering a big goose egg for that. So no. There is a glitch in it or the rules of the event aren't clearly set. What sneaky slimy no good rapscallion would do this?!
@noslo for the skeleton captains. they need to be on an OoS voyage and also be name Captain Something. You will have red named skeletons that are not captains, they dont count.
Every single challenge is working correctly. I should add the “5 stolen things” challenge is limited to chests only. This means only gold hoarder chests and the chest of legends. Collector chests and ashen chests don’t work. One more thing, it doesn’t register if sold to the reaper hideout.

if it was loot you took from someone else it would have counted for the people you took it from. basically the first time loot is picked up it is like tagged for your crew. i think. dont take that as gospel

@galactic-geek Sorry for a late response, yes I seen them turn it in but I'm wondering if it was because I originally stole the loot and than gave it to someone else that is probably the reason lol.
I most likely didn't read it properly.
@captain-coel Hey Cap, Yeah its all said and done, but the lack of clarification keeps it a mystery. Which on one hand ya got to appreciate. On the other hand, stings do to time invested and nothing due to a unspoken minor detail.

I just gave another pirate a lot of loot (some from a GH mission, some from an AI ship I sunk, some from loot I found in beaches) and none of it counted towards the 50 items I have to give to other crews. I went with the guy to the outpost to make sure he sold it, so I know for sure he did sell it and none of it counted for me.
Edit: About 1h after I left, the game counted 19 more items which is probably right.

If you steal them from someone else they won't count for you. Also ive noticed only normal chests count which is kinda lame.
@inkar-agobi I just looked and I see that the game counted my items now. So it works. I guess we just need to be a bit patient before it comes visible ;-)

The irony here is that the 4 I got that counted were left behind on a dock when I spawned in...
I have had several instances with Umbra's immortilisation easter eggs not counting nor the three hens for the 12 Days of Giving.
When I spend hours, upong hours grinding for even the single piece of cosmetic and the find out I did it for nothing, it is irritating, disheartening and flat out inexcusable.
