Can’t hear other crew mates or pirates

    I can’t hear my crewmates talk so they usually just leave when I join. They also can’t hear me. Xbox one s. I’ve tried all the privacy setting even tho sea of thieves isn’t listed there. I use a arctis 7 headset and it works fine with any other game and party chat. Can’t find a solution anywhere.

    I fixed the problem by turning game chat to toggle and toggling it on and off in the game so now my chat bubble pops up and I see other people’s chat bubbles but I still can’t hear anyone.

    So this is a big issue IMO. Lots of people including streamers have had this issue. I am on Xbox series s and I’ve checked all my privacy settings on the console and even on my desktop and on Xbox.com. It’s extremely frustrating to not be able to communicate with other players or at least listen in to what’s being said. Is there anyone that can narrow this issue down? Party chat works just nothing in game for voice chat

    Literally just dealt with this while streaming the other day. Double check to see if your push to talk option is checked.
    Mine got checked somehow and I wasn't able to hear or talk to other crews until I unchecked it again.
    Hope that fixes it for you.
