The old gold curse should come back and how it should come back

    I may have not gotten the curse during it early times but I do remember how unique every pirate I encountered who had it. Some was really good and some just really bad.

    I believe this RNG feature could come back if we had the ability to “reroll the dice” as many as we want until we find something we like, much like the random pirate generator.

    If done right not only the old curse is back and bring many unique looks but this feature could be used in with ashen curse or other future curses.

    May the Gold curse rise again!

    I think they mean they want the original random version. When it first came out, everyone had a randomly generated curse, and a few players did not like it so they petitioned to have something better. Rare decided it was just easier to make everyone's gold curse look the same to stop the complaints.

    @chenzo01 The Gold Curse used to have multiple different appearances that got randomly selected every game. (I’m not fully sure, since I joined after the change happened) However, one update Rare changed the curse so that only one version could appear. I’m all for having different varieties in my curses!

    It would be cool if its different every time you put it on.

    Then you can just equip and unequip til you get a curse you like.

    Otherwise people are either really lucky or really unlucky.

    I believe that they weren't random, but were in fact based upon the different Gold Hoarder representatives and their golden markings. What I would like to see is all of them, organized similarly to the original tattoo sets (GC 1, GC 2, etc.).

    @daringclarky but then if you find something you like so much, you can never take it off or worst case scenario you accidentally take it of or replace another curse.

    So the best to do this is too add button that you press while hovering over your curse to change the look

    Yeah that would be better.
    Or just release several versions of the curse and label them by numbers.
