I have spent quite a while completing all of the challenges I can and an interesting bug I have found is that on some islands whenever I die to Graymarrow and go back to the island I can never find him again forcing me to quit the quest and try again. This doesn't seem like a rare bug because I have encountered it twice out of the 5 quests j have done. It occurred on Cannon Cove and Smugglers Bay. I spent long amounts of time just searching every part of the island for him and I could never find him. I was playing solo sloop and on xbox if that helps?
Fate of the Damned Ghost of Graymarrow Bug
One time when I came back to him after I died fighting him, he was stuck in a rock. His head barely popped out, making it almost impossible to kill him, because I could only shoot him with my blunderbuss. I ended up quitting because he just wouldn't die. I am not sure at which island this was, but I think it was at Cannon Cove.
