Since this last update, the game has been pretty stuttery around certain spots, odd thing is my FPS has also gone down, even though it seems the game has been given some performance enhancements with the last update.

GPU: 1050 ti
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2300X
Ram: 16gb
I used to run the game at about 60fps at whatever's just above rare settings, now i'm struggling to run it at rare settings.
Anyone know how to fix this?

No graphical issue here but time slows in game. I think they traded slowing players down for getting the greybeard errors. Now instead of getting DC player movement is halved and controls are slow to respond until connection catches up. Sometimes raising anchor on a sloop will feel like I’m raising a galleon anchor lol. Not sure which is worse 😄
The game definitely has has some performance issues. But I only see the stuttering when my CPU utilization is maxing out - which usually happens when I'm streaming and run facerig at the same time.
I've mostly just seen issues with not being able to hold consistent frames and I've been running with a 3090 (and the performance is fine for every other game I've played with it).
Try enabling triple or quadruple buffering in the video settings. You'll get a bit less response from controls (~17ms/34ms at 60fps, half that at 120fps) but you might get a more consistent framerate.
Failing that, drop the quality of shadows and lighting, as they're going to be most intensive on your CPU.
I have experianced stuttering.....not only one my own voice since i've stuttered since birth but ALSO on my pc after this last update.
My FPS were FINE until this release but then boom....i can sometimes get 30fps on bigger islands insted of 60....and such.I haven't change abit on my computer.....(i tried updated my graphic drivers as well but nope)
