hello i dont know where i need to ask questions so i am posting it here, it would be fun if you could sink a boat without using a cannon ball eg used a ship pump to pump water in it would be fun. I often manage to sneak into a boat without being able to do anything.

If you have enough time to pump a ship full of water, you definitely have enough time to just steer it into a rock or two which would probably be faster.
Literally just did this at Reaper's when a ship brought me a Reaper Bounty chest and a nice emissary flag.
@d3adst1ck I know very well, but what I mean is that there is no solution to sink a boat by the cannonballs. It would have been interesting to be able to sink a boat after it has sunk ours or to infiltrate a strong "event" and then sink the boat without us being seen.
You can always put something on the stove and hope nobody notices.
I think the only (mostly) silent way would be with a Chest of Sorrows.

Every ship has a pump and a barrel with water. Just keep tossing buckets of water into the ship. It's going to take a while. Or swim nearby and toss water onto the deck. You have several options other than a cannon.

You can burn the ship with fireball, flood it by bucketing water from off the ship, blow it up, place a chest of sorrow on it, place some kind of food on the stove and it will catch fire or kill them all and run it aground.
