Since today's update, every time I try to launch the game, it crashes on the splash screen where it shows the small sea of thieves picture before the game actually opens. It just abruptly closes with no error message. I've tried all the suggested fixes from the internet, such as:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling xbox insider hub
- changing my pc's region, then resetting the Sea of Thieves app
- Resetting the Sea of Thieves app
- Running WSRESET
- Deleting the files at C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache and restarting my pc.
Nothing so far has worked, and my internet is too slow to reinstall the game in a reasonable amount of time.
I've seen reports of people encountering this issue since the game was in beta and haven't seen any official responses yet from rare, so lets see if they'll actually address the issue.
