Primary vs. secondary activation keys/buttons

  • Could there be a way to customize which actions are considered primary and which are considered secondary? For example, the same key is used for picking up items as well as interacting with a rowboat, which sometimes leads to sitting in the boat or grabbing the oars instead of grabbing items/chests.

    I imagine primary actions to be more "activation" in nature (press button, toggle switch, open chest, etc.) and secondary actions to be more "utilization" in nature (move chest/pet, alter sails/capstan, etc.). The game is already like this for the most part, except for the part of the rowboat that affects the player.

    Thoughts?

  • All I want is the ability to separate swap weapons and secondary interact on controller so I don’t open a storage crate during a fight😞
