I would love to be able to change the cosmetics for my ship's compass I thing it would be based on the ships hull and not a seprate thing you can change, so the ghost hull would use the skin for the ghose compass and the Legendary ship set would use the legendary compass, ect...

Some of these are only on specific ships; therefore, I don't think that they should apply.

Honestly, I’m surprised why this isn’t possible. Rare could easily code this so it’s possible to customize the ships lanterns and compass.

@coffeelight5545 They probably could and probably will at some point, but it's going to be a long process if they implement it at all, simply because of how many sets there are.
It’s honestly not that hard. They already have all the lanterns and compass already created. The hardest part would be creating the code that allows them to take the Aristocrat Lantern and hang it on the ship.
I’m aware that Rare is busy creating new content for us each month so something like this would take a while to create. I’m hoping that Rare considers this

Also ship interiors in general, maybe we could paint the barrels too. Imagine being in a tuck outfit and the whole boat is banana yellow.
I was so surprised at previous patch nots that a capstan, a wheel, and cannons are not customizable until 1.4.0.
