I don't see why they should. Steam isn't better than buying it on the Microsoft store and vice versa, so there's no reason to reward players for buying something that they don't need.

Also from one copy in MS store myself and my son can play together, I don't think you can do that on Steam, you can share it to family but not run two instances simultaneously as far as I can work out.. May be wrong.
It's just worth bearing in mind if you have a family and are undecided.. Steam version maybe runs a little better but there's not much in it in reality, I run insider on Steam, no reason to buy twice imo.
@loganofdoom3726 Genuine question: why would you buy it on PC again if you already own it on PC. I've noticed that some fans of Steam are incredibly invested in it and avoid other stores wherever possible (like the Epic store). Is that the case here -- that you just prefer to have your games library on Steam?

They get paid a wage to worry about that.
@loganofdoom3726 lol of you want 1000 coins go buy them. if you want to play on steam you can buy it there. just don't buy the coins on the ms store and launch the game from steam
@daringclarky @Schwammlgott I’m not saying that they should give out ancient coins for it, I was just pointing out that there is absolutely nothing wrong with buying a second copy of the game, and there is a reason for it.
