In Honor Of Ching Shih One Of The Baddest Female Pirate In History (Please Create A 4th Ship Type Or (Galleon Variant).

  • Ching Shih, was a Chinese pirate leader who terrorized the China Seas during the Jiaqing Emperor period of the Qing dynasty in the early 19th-century. She commanded over 300 junks (traditional Chinese sailing ships) manned by 20,000 to 40,000 pirates—men, women, and even children.

By Adding Her Ship It Would Bring A Focus To Great Pirate Women Of History
As Well To Different Cultures Who Also Engaged In Piracy.

(I chose a picture of the ship that has existing elements in SOT)

  • if it was a different variation of the galleon like a complete reskin sure

but another type of ship with increased crew size will not be possible to do in this game

  • I learned about her from TEd-Ed on YouTube.

    It was a good watch.

Lets hope for the Sea of Five Winds Expansion!

It can be a different server / map you enter by sailing through a Portal maybe and open a complete new map / region with junk ships and new threats like a Sea Serpent instead of the Kraken, like Skeleton ships, but asian demon and ghost style etc...
    Banshee's etc...
Tons of stuff they could do with this setting.
And one lucrative thing pirates could do would be to bring stuff from one Sea to the other.
Merchants Cargo from Sea of Five Winds would sell better in the Sea of Thieves and vice versa.
Skulls (SoT) and Ghost Essence or Demon Masks (SofW) would be same.
The GH aequivalent in the SofW would be something like Jade Hunters.
Jade would be very rare in SoT and gold would be more rare in SofW.
But if you want to bring goods through the Portal you know the Portal can be camped by pirates on both sides!

To prevent constant camping they can add a higher Sea Serpent / Kraken spawn chance in that area.
So passing the Portal with loot is always a big risk and dangerous.
Not only pirates camping around, but also a high activity of the Kraken or the Sea Serpent or a Sea Dragon.
It adds some randomness because you can be lucky and the moment you pass the Portal the pirates luring got krakene'd, entangled.

Or you are just lucky and nobody is there and no Ai attacks you.
Or all and everything is against you.
    Risk it or not!

To be able to use the Portal you need something like the Shroudbreaker, but it is only a one way ticket that vanishes after one use.
Also to get from SoT to SofW you need a different item than to get from SofW to SoT.
This is to prevent hopping back and forth.
U can only sail into one direction and to get back you need to get a special thing bound to your ship that allows one passage.

It would add another hotspot for PvP.

I'd like to have it in the middle of the map where the Tavern is, like if you sail through the rock formation and have that item, you would automatically sail through the Portal.
And to get back you would need to get the item on the other side.
Maybe something like a Ritual Skull. Not too common, but also not super Rare.

Oh and it would matter from what side you come.
For example you come from the SofW and pass the Portal from the East, you will end up on the West side of the Portal in the SoT, so torwards RH.
If you prefer to end up on the other side, because you may fear pirates luring at the RH you better come from the west so you pass the Portal and exist it on the East side of the SoT.

I'd say there is tons of stuff they could do to enrich the world and the experience.
The Reapers could be a faction on both sides, have a hideout near the Portal on the SofW side too.
Hunters the same, but just the SofW version of it.
Fish would also sell better in the other Region. The SoT Hunters like Sea Serpent and the SofW Hunters like Kraken meat and have different fish types /equivalents that sell better in the other region.
