I feel like I've tried everything there is but I'm still not sure. The game just doesn't want to start up. It flashes on the screen for about 2 seconds and then just stops with no error message. Has this happened to anybody else? I have to game on my Xbox but I don't have it installed on there. I don't know if that's a problem.

Is this the Steam version of the game?
Cause I've been having the exact same issue for roughly a week... Oddly enough switching my language back and forth gives me a 1 out of 15 chances to launch the game.
I too have done literally everything support has recommended including some old fixes from years ago...
If it's the Steam version, I'm not sure what might cause that but if it's the Microsoft store version is usually is because of an authentication error. You may want to switch your windows account to log in with your Microsoft credentials if you haven't set it to do so already.

@lephrog420 I've got the same issue. Bought on MS store a few months back and I've not yet played the game.
I contacted support and they sent me some things to try which didn't work and then closed the ticket and told me to contact Xbox support who send me straight back to SoT support.
It's beyond frustrating...I have dozens of games on my PC, this is the only one I've never played and neither SoT, Xbox or Microsoft seem to care...
