ICYMI: Battletoads' Fightin' Frogs Ship Set

I'm fed up with rare not sharing announcements with players on their official site/forums.

We're in the minority here. They have 347K followers on Twitter, that's their logic.

@realstyli No your right, its a bit much to ask for them to copy paste a post on their forums. And to be honest we are in the middle of a pandemic and they are working from home!

I understand, that was silly of me. :P

I mean, it's not my logic, I'm just saying that's how they see it. It is possible they might post it to Announcements at some point... but it is a little disappointing that they rely on forum users to spread this information here

@realstyli They have not updated their server status page, announcements gets an update once every 6 months etc. They interact with their users on reddit and answer questions while ignoring here (unless they need us because they broke something last minute). They announce exclusive time limited content on twitter.

Why do we use this forum again?

I just unlocked the battletoads title Ratcatcher. There was no mention of anything other than ship set, right?

You should get the ship set after completing the Guardian boss at the end of Act One (just make sure you are logged in on the same account, a buddy of mine is playing on Steam and it didn't link the accounts correctly so he has to do it again).

I must say, the ship set looks awesome. The cannons are probably going to be hard to aim but I can see me using this set for awhile and just swapping those out.

Numbers mean nothing without actual engagement, they get more impressions on Twitter. These forums are not exactly a flurry of activity.

I completed first act on Steam with same xbox live account, but still didn't get ship set. My Steam and Xbox account linked since I started to play SOT on Steam. I was logged in Battletoads. What do I do wrong?

Did you beat the Guardian boss? That marks the end of Act One and you should get the items. But I recommend to keep playing to the next bit of gameplay, just to be sure.

If you did that, double check your link to Steam, you might even need to relink it from Game Bar.

Failing all that, if you don't get them in within 72 hours, get in touch with support.
