I'm mostly a new player and since the last couple days, im getting 2-3 events at the same time. Exemple yesterday, i had a player following me and 2 ghosts ship spawned on me + the kraken. Is this normal ? 2 days ago, i also got 4 ghost ships under 15 minutes. Not sure if it's a normal behavior a bug or something but it's pretty [Mod edit] when you are solo in a sloop trying to defend against all of them. It would be nice if the game could detect that you are already being attacked by a ghost ship while a pvp player is close and doesn't spawn another one.
Events : Ghost ships / kraken
Do you mean ghost ships or skeleton ships (asking as you are new)? There is a difference.
Emergent and roaming skeleton ships are common and not world events so they can occur at the same time as other world events, such as the Kraken. Ghost ships however are typically linked to the Flameheart world event (big flaming pirate head n the sky) so should not occur at the same time as the Kraken. Also skeleton ship fleets can occur (marked by the ship club in the sky) and is also a world event so should not happen at the same time as a Kraken. I am not sure how the player summoned ghost ships/voyages work as I have not had the chance to try them out and notice the particulars.
I ended up the other day with back to back Krakens while playing solo. Had just taken one out and anchored there to collect the loot, then not a couple of minutes later another one spawned in the same spot... I was not as fortunate that time and could not take it out as well.

Yesterday they were 2 skeleton ships, a galleon and a sloop + kraken + 1 galleon pvp player. It's alright to have some skeleton ships but not 2 at the sametime + a kraken.
And also 4 under 15 minutes ... What would be nice is having a check if there's an pvp player near you, only one "event" can spawn at a time. Because even if you are a really good player, 2 skeleton ships, 1 kraken + 1 galleon, pretty sure you are dead...
I don't really mind 1 skeleton ships + 1 pvp player or kraken + pvp players. But i think fighting 2 things at the sametime is enough no ? :PMost likely the skeleton galleon spawned on their ship, it will fire at anyone though. So, it wasn't technically speaking bound to you.
Kraken is a world event and if two ships are near in open waters when it is supposed to spawn, the chances are likely that one of them will be hit.
The skeleton sloop most likely was on you.
